Spring Term for B&HCS Starting Thursday 9th January. Anyone who enjoy singing, this is a wonderful opportunity to join B&HCS for their Spring term, to sing the Messiah with them at their concert in April.
They meet every Thursday 7:30pm to 9:30pm with a coffee/tea break in between. Held at the Methodist Church Hall, College Street, Burnham. All levels of singers are welcome, especially tenor and bass voices. There are no auditions, and if you read music, that is a bonus, but it’s not necessary.
3rd Thursday… Feeding body & soul.
A dementia friendly space with a short service of well loved hymns and prayers.
Followed by tea, sandwiches and cake .
Open to all. St. Andrews Church 2:30pm every 3rd Thursday of the month.
Carols by Candlelight. Sunday 15th December 3:00pm at All Saints Church, East Huntspill.
Come and join us for a traditional Carol Service.
Spring is in the air. Come and celebrate with us on Saturday 1st March at Burnham Community Centre, 5 Berrow Road, TA8 1ET next door to the swimming pool, from 10:00am – 12 noon. Cakes, teas/coffees (free refills), raffle, hand made crafts. Funds raised are in aid of the building fund for the centre which is used by many local groups.
Christmas Demonstration for Burnham Area Flower Club.
Our Christmas Demonstration this year is at Highbridge Community Centre on Friday 15th November. Demonstrator for the evening will be Coral Gardiner with her demonstration “TREE-MENDOUS CHRISTMAS“.
