Rescued Recycled Reused hold a Free To Everyone Community Clothing morning. No money or vouchers needed. All clothing is absolutely free, just bring your own bag.
We are in the Hall at the Methodist Church, College St, Burnham, TA8 1AS every Wednesday morning from 10:00am.
Come along and refresh your wardrobe, kit out the family, everything is free. 
We accept clean, wearable clothing donations, also bedding (not duvets, pillows or cushions sorry).

Bowl in the New Year with bowling

Come and join us, bowl away the January blues and try something different! After our Christmas break we recommence bowling on Monday 6th January meeting at 1:45pm at the Balliol Hall, Church Road, West Huntspill TA9 3RN. Our bowling time is from 2:00pm to 4:00pm but we break for refreshments mid session.
The first 3 sessions are free and includes refreshments of a cuppa and biscuit, we welcome new players both experienced and beginners.

Spring Term for B&HCS

Spring Term for B&HCS Starting Thursday 9th January. Anyone who enjoy singing, this is a wonderful opportunity to join B&HCS for their Spring term, to sing the Messiah with them at their concert in April.
They meet every Thursday 7:30pm to 9:30pm with a coffee/tea break in between. Held at the Methodist Church Hall, College Street, Burnham. All levels of singers are welcome, especially tenor and bass voices. There are no auditions, and if you read music, that is a bonus, but it’s not necessary.

Burnham Community Centre’s Monthly Coffee Morning

Burnham Community Centre’s Monthly Coffee Morning Welcomes You.
We have our first coffee morning of 2025 on Saturday 4th January from 10:00am – 12 noon, at the Community Centre, next door to the swimming pool TA8 1ET.
Funds are in aid of the centre, and is used by many local groups in the area. 
Tea/coffee, (free refill) cakes, raffle, crafts, and hand painted cards are available.

What will you do now that Christmas is over?

Family and friends have now gone home. Are things feeling flat for you? We at West Huntspill Methodist Chapel, invite you to join us at our Coffee Morning which we are holding on Friday 3rd January, 10:30am till 12 noon. No sales tables this time, just tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits and friendly chat. Any donations will be for “Action for Children”. We will be having our normal end of the month coffee morning on Friday 31st January.

Play Kurling and socialise with others at the Princess Theatre

Indoor Kurling every Thursday 10:30am to 1:00pm at the Princess Theatre. Kurling is becoming one of the most popular activities of the week. Kurling is a great way to be active without working up a sweat (depending on how competitive you are!) and to socialise with others. Kurling can be played by all ages and all abilities. To participate will cost just £3 per person payable at the box office on arrival. No need to book, just turn up and play.

East Brent Film Club at the Village Hall

East Brent Film Club at the Village Hall.
Our film for January is ‘Ticket to Paradise’ on Friday 3rd January. Doors open at 6:30pm, which gives you time to grab a drink and snack from our interesting selection, before the 7:00pm start. Tickets are £5.00 on the door (cash only please). Bring a cushion for extra comfort and a great start to the New Year!
