An active club for the more physically challenged

An active club for the more physically challenged people, 16-65 years.
We meet every Thursday at the Scout Hut, off Windwhistle Lane. Behind Devonshire Road, Cricket Club.
In July we have the Ukele players, a picnic in Clarence Park & a trip to Taunton, maybe the shops or Bowling.
Please come along & try us we are a friendly group. We use WDC community buses for transport if you need it.

U3a Weston-super-Mare. Are you looking for somewhere to go in your spare time? Have you considered joining our local u3a?

We have over 30 groups who meet either weekly, monthly or bi-monthly. Everyone’s favourite are the day trips to famous and beautiful destinations or weekend holidays.

Come along to our Tuesday coffee mornings from 10:00am to 11:15am in the Friends Meeting House in Weston High Street.

North Somerset Model Society – We Make All Sorts.
The Society holds its meetings at the ‘Ebdon Arms’, Lilac Way, Wick St. Lawrence, Weston-super-Mare, BS22 9WE, from 7:30pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. The Society also holds an all day ‘model-in’ at The Helicopter Museum one Sunday each month. Modellers are welcome to either meeting, regardless of age or experience. The Society will be holding its annual Model Show at the Helicopter Museum on Sunday 14th July, for admission see the Museum website.

Vocalise ladies choir – not just a choir – a family.

Do you love singing in a group? Do you like a social activity where you feel valued and can have a laugh? Do you want to go home feeling uplifted?

Vocalise is for you – leave your cares behind for a couple of hours, and at the same time achieve a high standard you can be proud of that audiences talk about long after concerts.

Mondays at St George’s Community Centre, 7:30pm – 9:30pm.

Pop Up Fabric and Coffee shop

We’re  holding a pop up fabric shop when Mark Pickles will be bringing lots of quilting fabrics, wadding and haberdashery. Sewing machine servicing available – phone 01225 482413 to book a slot – and we’ll be serving homemade cakes, light lunches and cream teas in aid of Freewheelers.

It’s at Greenways Farm, 2 Lyefield Road, Worle BS22 9NX on Saturday 13th July from 10:00am to 3:00pm.

Emmanuel Church Summer fete

You will be sure of a warm welcome at our Summer Fete in our old and beautiful Church hall in the centre of town – Emmanuel Church, Oxford Street. This will be held on Saturday 6th July from 10:30am until 2:00pm. Delicious lunches will be served.
People of all ages and walks of life can come together for a meet-up of friends and to make new friends.
There will be lovely homemade cakes available and a sale of other goodies including books.
