North Sedgemoor Local History Group – On Wednesday 12th February John Strickland will give a presentation about “The Legend of Burnham’s Paradise and Joseph of Arimathea.”
The time 7:00pm – 9:00pm; the venue King Alfred School Lecture Theatre. Membership £10 per season, visitors £5 per session. Parking in visitors car park or in small car park in front of main building. Please bring a torch as site lighting is not good in some places.
Race Night on Saturday 8th February at East Huntspill Church Hall. Doors open 7:00pm, first race at 7:30pm.

The North Somerset Hard of Hearing Social group meets on the 1st Monday of each month, 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Conservative Club, 24-26 Alexandra Parade, Weston-super-Mare BS23 10X. The topic on the 3rd February is the Middle East and the Suez crisis. The meetings are a mixture of speakers, chat and useful information. Hearing aid batteries available. Cost £4 to include refreshments.
Welcome to Burnham Community Centre’s February, Valentine Themed Coffee Morning on Saturday 1st February from 10:00am 12noon, next to the swimming pool TA8 1ET.
Funds raised are in aid of the Community Centre, used by many local groups.

Burnham Moose meet on the 4th Thursday of the month at Berrow Village Hall at 7:00pm, with various speakers and guests.

Burnham-on-Sea and District Horticultural Society’s next meeting is on Monday 20th January at the Community Centre, Berrow Road, Burnham-on-Sea with guest SPEAKER Joy Hutchings on floral demonstrations.
