Coming soon – Highbridge Festival of The Arts in March

Entries for this year’s Festival are now closed, and entrants should receive their timetable in the next few weeks. But why not plan to join the audience? You can watch people of all ages showcase their talents in the performing arts fields of Speech & Drama and Dance at The Princess Theatre, Burnham-on-Sea, between 10th and 16th March and Music at St John’s Church, Highbridge, between 18th and 22nd March.

Brent Knoll Christmas Tree Festival

Brent Knoll Christmas Tree Festival , St. Michaels Church, Brent Knoll.

Friday 13th December, 3:00pm – 7:00pm, with singing by All Sorts Choir at 4:00pm.

Saturday 14th December, 10:00am – 4:00pm.

Sunday 15th December, 10:00am – 4:00pm, with community singing led by Brent Knoll School choir at 3:00pm.

Monday 16th December 10:00am – 4:00pm.

Displays of over 40 lit trees creatively decorated or made by locals. Refreshments and Raffle on Friday to Sunday.

In aid of St. Michaels church.

Family and friends have now gone home. Are things feeling flat for you? We at West Huntspill Methodist Chapel, invite you to join us at our Coffee Morning which we are holding on Friday 3rd January, 10:30am till 12 noon. No sales tables this time, just tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits and friendly chat. Any donations will be for “Action for Children”. We will be having our normal end of the month coffee morning on Friday 31st January.

This year’s Harvest Supper will be in the Parish Hall on Saturday 19th October at 7:00pm.

We are thrilled to welcome back, “The Lipinski Brothers”, who play a huge range of music and have entertained us so well in the past at the Harvest Supper and Music on the Green.  We know this will be an evening not to be missed!!
