Mondays – Vocalise ladies choir – not just a choir – a family

Do you love singing in a group? Do you like a social activity where you feel valued and can have a laugh? Do you want to go home feeling uplifted?

Vocalise is for you – leave your cares behind for a couple of hours, and at the same time achieve a high standard you can be proud of that audiences talk about long after concerts.

St George’s Community Centre 7:30pm – 9:30pm.

Local charity, Age UK Somerset, is expanding its service, launching more Tai Chi QiGong classes for older people in the Weston area.
The outdoor session in Grove Park is back on Wednesdays at 12:00pm, weather allowing. And now you can also join this popular mindful movement class in Corpus Christi Parish Hall, 14 Ellenborough Park South, BS23 1XW on Thursdays at 11:00am. £6 per session.
The classes are fun and can improve your balance, strength and flexibility.

Women of Weston Womens Institute (WoW WI) meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm. We meet in the community centre in Haywards Village , next to the primary school,  BS24 8ES. Plenty of parking available.
We welcome women of all ages, and every  month have a speaker, activity or craft. In addition we have refreshments, a raffle and sometimes a quiz!

Weston German Speaking Group

German speaking group (Stammtisch) in Weston

We are a friendly group of German speakers who meet up once a month. We usually meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month at the Stable Games room at 7:00pm (this date could change though, so please check our Facebook Group “German speaking group (Stammtisch) in Weston”). It’s not a lesson as such, but all levels are welcome – we chat about all kinds of things in German.
